Will I receive a vehicle shipping contract?

When you place an order with Expressway, you agree to our Terms and Conditions which is our contract for the transaction.

What is the difference between a Carrier and a Broker?

A carrier operates trucks and often times is an owner-operator who only schedules shipments through a broker and serves only a few routes. A broker has a huge network of car carriers serving the whole country. Though, a Carrier can give you a lower rate since they have their own trucks to ship your vehicle. Carrier has USDOT authority, federal licenses and cargo insurance of the company transporting your vehicle. Prime Expressis both a licensed carrier and a licensed broker.

What do I do if I need to cancel my order? Do I get a refund?

You should submit in writing to info@expressway.com per our Cancellation Policy.

Where can I find reviews of Expressway?

We are a five-star rated company on several major transport review platforms. Visit our Prime Expressreview page to read real customer testimonial, get information from some of our customer's car shipping experiences, and access independent review sources online for more in- depth information about Expressway.

Is your service door-to- door?

Yes, we provide door to door service. Our drivers will pick up and deliver your vehicle as close as possible to your front door safely and legally. Some cities do not allow transport trucks to enter the city and some homes may be difficult to reach. We offer both door-to door and terminal to terminal car shipping.

Why do you need the year of the vehicle?

Some popular vehicles we will ship both old and new. Older cars typically weigh comparatively more than their newer counterparts and weight is a big component of the cost of shipping.

What details do you need to place an order?

We need vehicle details from your quote. If you call to place an order we may be able to lookup a quote you got online. We’ll need to know the year of the vehicle and the full pickup and delivery addresses. We’ll need your phone number that help us to get in touch with you in need. We’ll also require your name and at least one phone number for the pickup and delivery contact if it is not you but someone else. We’ll also need a credit card to put on file. We authorize the card at the time you give it to us to make sure it was entered correctly but there is no charge and no hold until we schedule a trucker for pickup and provide you with his name and number.

Can I place an order if I don’t know the exact address?

You still can place an order if you don’t know the exact address. In that case, you can use Zip code or city name for booking purpose.

Why do you need my email to get a quote?

We need your email because we’ll send you a copy of the quote which will lock in your quoted price for up to 7 days. You can book later with the same quote within 7 days from the date of quote. After 7 days, your quote will expires but the details are saved and can be quickly recalculated if you wish to book after 7 days. We don’t require your name and phone number to get a quote. We assure that we will not spam you nor will we sell your email address to anyone. If you prefer not to give us your email address, please give us a call at Expressway and you’ll get a customized quote over the for you.

What is an operable or inoperable vehicle?

A vehicle will be considered operable when it can be drive in forward and reverse under its own power and steer. If any of these conditions are not met it is considered inoperable. Basically, if a car can be driven on and off a transport truck without any additional effort on the part of the trucker, then it’s an operable vehicle. If the trucker needs to push or winch the vehicle onto the truck, it’s inoperable and a trucker will charge little more to perform these additional efforts. All transport trucks can not accommodate inoperable vehicles so pickup may take longer for an inoperable vehicle.

What types of vehicles do you ship?

Prime Express ships all standard types of vehicles such as sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, minivans, and regular cargo and passenger vans.
